They played games like hula- hoop, and even some archery for the older kids. It was all to wrap up the student’s recent history lesson in ancient Greece. It might seem like all fun, but teachers say it’s all part of the process …

Hello, recently, and obviously according to my question, I was frozen for no apparent reason. Now, I have been subject to an unfair judgment by the neopets team. When I tried to log in, I was greeted by the following message:”This account has been FROZEN for the following reason:

This account was found to be purchasing or selling Neopoints, Items and/or Pets.”

Now, I have never ONCE gone to a site to buy Neopoints. The situation that they are confused in is the fact that I was DONATED 2 million Neopoints for helping a forum friend with SSBB training. As a result of him winning a tournament under my guidance, I was awarded 2 million. Under his methods, I set up my shop to 22 items, until the price averaged to two million. From there, everything went well. I had my friend set it up for me while I was away. Logged into my account and notified me. And then sent me the message when I asked him where was my items and points “Dude I had it.” Oh its in ur shop til.”

Everything went well until I was frozen, as to which I filed out my form.

According to THEIR terms of service, being donated Neopoints because of external reason outside Neopets IS NOT forbidden. This was no stated in their rules. No purchase was ever made for these points, and their own copyright has never been violated.

So in my form, I was verified the reason for being frozen and got a response after two days. For safety purposes, I will not disclose the worker’s name: “Thanks for writing in.

Your account has been frozen for attempting to, or actually buying or selling neopoints.

As it clearly states in the first lines of the Terms and Conditions (http://www.neopets.com/terms.phtml):

\”The accounts, activities, items, neopoints, characters, locations, faeries, games and pets are for you to play with while on the site. Except as permitted by the functionality of this site, you can\’t sell them (for money or Neopoints), give them to anyone, trade them for anything (including Neopoints), or pretend you made them.\”

By purchasing neopoints, people wind up supporting scammers (who are responsible for the vast majority of attempted sales). The neopoints purchased then wind up being from any number of children\’s stolen accounts.”

I responded, “Hmm..Interesting note. It would be nice to know just when have I purchased Neopoints? A user by bad1778 (some sort of name similar.) had gotten in contact with me, and gave me them. I had never botten those points, but freely recieved them. I don\’t recall that being against the terms and conditions, correct?

Thanks for the response.”

And THEN: “Thanks for your e-mail. While we understand the importance of your account, we are required to use the evidence that we have in our records. Based on this evidence, we are unable to return this account to you. It is your responsibility to make sure your account stays safe. Never give out your passwords or personal information, and use common sense when browsing the internet. If you are using a public access computer, such as in your school or library, please remember to always logout of your account. We are sorry, but we will not return this account.

If you have any other questions, don’t forget to include the entire text of this e-mail with your username clearly at the top. This will help me better address your situation.”

I once again responded, I asked politely for proper evidence that supposedly was breaking their terms:

“Thanks again for you’re response. I just had one question. What evidence do you have that I bought them, when I received them? I would like to know, as I am very confused on this situation.

I am trying to act very professional on this situation, but it seems being professional as possible isn’t helping me. I am very upset on this, to say the least. The reason they are suspicious is because I am a one month old member, who just got the secret lab. But their unfair accusations is annoying, and the fact I did not do anything angers me. My username was Infinity_Mijinion.
@ Robert, yeah. Sucks.
@Kimmeh. Alright, thanks for the response. The tournament was an external source, a SSBB tournament not by Neopets. And I would actually like to argue with the statement of Neopoint distribution. The terms and condition say only if its in real money. No copyright was ever violated as no one had paid for anything. Hope this clarified my post.
